Learn To Ride
Learn to Ride is a supplemental prelude to our Urban Explorers programming providing the space for participants to learn bike safety, the basics of bike maintenance, and grow their confidence in bike riding skills.
Participants will begin learning the basics of bike safety and maintenance under the guidance of our skilled Bike Shop Manager, Bill Trimble and/or Community Bike Shop staff. Then, they will take this instruction and begin to put it into practice. The Learn to Ride program goal is at the end of the week, participants will feel confident in their ability to ride a bike safely and maintain a bike of their own. They are encouraged to visit our Community Bike Shop for their bike needs.
