WINter Discoveries (WIND)

Winter

From late February to early-April, participants in our WINter Discoveries (WIND) program will have the opportunity to engage in sessions that cultivate confidence, empowerment and creativity. This afterschool program is set up to explore various aspects of our everyday self and the world around us particularly the wealth of nature that is Victory Park, New Bedford. Each session is hosted with different community partners and experts who are excited to share their knowledge and skills with youth. Workshops are based intentionally on concepts and skills development that are accessible to youth, touching upon the arts, culture, history, economics, nature, sustainability, as well as personal self-discovery and wellbeing.
